Bikes & Trailers

Sunday 30th May 2004
Last Sunday was Aunty Lindsay’s birthday and so this week we all went over to her house for  a BBQ.  They have a new house with beds just for Scott & Elizabeth.  Emily sleeps in her travel cot although she is now getting to be a big girl now and will soon be having her own bed, but not just yet.
This week Mummy and Daddy went to the Royal Albert Hall to see Sting in concert; they said they had a really good time.  Mummy had a photo shoot with a photography agent, but they were rubbish and made a real mess of the pictures.  Shame but they had fun in London.
Also this week Daddy fixed the new bikes and we got a new bike trailer so that Mummy or Daddy can tow the girls along in it.   Scott also got a new big bike so that he can keep up with all his friends now as he is too big for his little bike.  He has started riding his little bike with no stabilisers.  How clever is that!!!!  So we all went for a bike ride into Romsey with our new bikes.  It was really good fun.  Elizabeth fell asleep in the trailer, although Emily was a little pickle towards the end, she would keep poking her head out of the trailer to see what was going on!!! A lot of people stopped and looked as they had not seen one of our trailers before

Father & Son Camp

Sunday 16th May 2004
This weekend Scotty and Daddy went camping on the fathers and son camp.  They took their tent and camping stove and had a great time.  Scott was very good and stayed up late playing football and cooking with Daddy.  He was so tired that he didn’t get up till 9.30am and nearly missed breakfast he was that late.   We have put lots of pictures of us camping in the Gallery.  After Daddy and Scott got back from camping it was into the car to go up to the temple.  That was really nice to go to the temple again.  We children were very good as Nikki looked after us.  So it was a late night when we all got back.  Also this week Daddy and Mummy got some new bikes so that we can all go cycling.  Daddy has to fix them first as he got them from a friend.

Sunday 9th May 2004.
Another busy day!  Mummy went off to a meeting early this morning and so we all went to Church with Daddy.  Leah made our breakfast as she has been over with us for the weekend because she was baby-sitting us on Friday and Saturday night.  Mummy and Daddy have been dirty stop outs for the last two nights.  On Saturday evening they went to the cinema and they saw a new Dracula movie called Van Helsing, ooooo Scary!! But on Friday evening they went out to a skittles evening with some of our friends parents.  They didn’t have a great night though because Mummy wasn’t feeling very well and Daddy ended up taking her to the Accident and Emergency to make sure she is alright.  It is her tummy that is hurting again so they said she needs to go to the doctors again.  She has been a lot better since, we think she is eating too much chocolate and ice cream!! We’ll eat it for you Mummy we keep saying, but she doesn’t want us too.
We also went to town on Saturday and played with Kelsy Gilmore aswell, which was a lot of fun.  Today we played outside when we got back from Church as it was sunny until it rained just before dinner.  Mummy and Daddy sat on our bench outside the house to keep an eye on us, but I think Mummy sneaked off to have a nap and we saw Daddy nodding off on the bench, that’s not looking after us is it!!!!!

Back to Work

Tuesday 4th May 2004
It is now back to normal after our holiday and so that means, Daddy back to work, Mummy back to constant work and the children back to school and toddler group.  It has also just been a bank holiday which meant Daddy was off for an extra day but we think he would have rather been at work because Mummy made him do all the jobs that he hadn’t finished off.  He had to put in all the kickboards & skirting boards in the kitchen because he hadn’t done so when he put the new floor in.  Not only that Mummy made him put up all towel rails, bathroom shelves and toothbrush & toilet roll holders that he said he would do but hadn’t done for over a year.  Mummy was the winner because Daddy did it all. But just to let you know mummy worked just as hard, repainting both bathrooms and do all the weeding in the front garden, not to mention motivating!!     Also we got to go to Krazy Kingdom which is a children’s play centre, it was raining so we couldn’t go to Moor Valley Country Park.
On Saturday we all went into Southampton to buy Daddy a new suit after Mummy had finished at her aerobics.  We had a lot of fun in the shop, the shop assistants couldn’t keep up with us, Emily was a little grouchy, she doesn’t like shopping, but Elizabeth does.  We met up with Aunty Andrea and Jess while we were in town and so we all went to McDonalds for lunch. While mummy had some retail therapy in primark, buy a number of things, which included a size 8 !!! skirt.
On Sunday we went to church and then to Uncle Ian’s for lunch but Daddy was very late getting back from Church so it was actually dinner time by the time we got there.  Uncle Ian then came back to our house and watched a DVD with Mummy and Daddy while we all went to bed.Â
